I realized something that I think is strange while I was at home. I realized that I really have three people in my life that I would consider my best/closest friends, that probably doesn't seem weird right? Like girls are supposed to have their group of friends right? Well the difference is that my three best friends don't really know each other, like at all.
Me & Kristin
Me & Gen
Me & Kailey*
Kristin and Kailey went to high school together but weren't really friends (not that they didn't like each other, they just weren't close) and probably wouldn't have any idea what was going on in each other's lives at this point if it weren't for me. Kristin and Gen have met once and I'm pretty sure Kailey and Gen have never met at all - Kailey confirms this. This is weird right?
*Oddly, finding a picture of Kailey and me was the most difficult of these three and we live together.

That's sort of how I work too. None of my friends know each other.
It's funny how that works. I am proud to say that I am one of those best friends though. :)
Why must you keep using this photo of me with a lazy eye? Just because you look super cute and it's your blog is really no reason...
That said, me and my lazy eye would be up for some sort of gathering of friendships if we all happen to be i the same town...

True, I have never met Gen, though I've heard all about her (although, I don't think I ever told you this, but for some reason i totally thought she was black for the first 6 months you were talking about her). And it may be weird, but I think we pick up friends from different periods of our lives - I have high school friends, college friends, Austin fiends, etc. Although Kristin and I are both from high school, so I guess that theory may not hold up - but kristin was color guard and i was chemistry! Soooo different!
