Hypothetically Speaking...

In an alternate universe, maybe I signed up on an online dating site. And maybe I didn’t do this to find my one true love but really so that I would leave the house more. It would probably be wrong for me to seriously date someone here since I want more than anything to return to California but that doesn’t mean that I can’t make the most of my situation.

So far, I like the site. It is very young and hip and free (very important). I’m not going to tell you what it is in this blog because I don’t want all of you trying to go there and read my profile and make fun of me but if you are interested – for your own reasons – I would be happy to share.

In other news, this weekend I am going to a free private consultation/meet/tour of a dance studio here to possibly learn Latin ballroom dancing. I’ve never partner danced and I really want to learn. I do realize that a ballroom dance studio isn’t exactly the happening place to meet single, straight men but it is all part of the get out of the house more plan.

okay first off, THE STRIKE IS OVER and I couldn't be more excited unless it was April/May when some shows are coming back with limited runs.

Secondly, remember when I said that all I wanted from Logan's (yes I realize he has a real name, I just choose not to use it) character on Moonlight was vulnerability and shirtlessness? Yeah, got BOTH in one episode that we watched last night. Can you say awesome? I can.

So today is the big day when the Gladys CD is released! Everyone should be really excited and congratulate everyone who did such an awesome job on putting the CD together (most importantly Scotty, Kailey, & Jason), it really is hilarious and you should buy one for everyone you know!

Hey Look, a Logan Post

Guess what show is pretty awesome? You think I'm going to say Veronica Mars don't you? Well, that is awesome but you're wrong. The correct answer is Moonlight, a show about a vampire with a heart of gold working as a private investigator. Guess why I downloaded it in the first place? Okay yeah you're probably going to get this one right, LOGAN!

Here's the thing, the show is cool people, Kailey and I watched way too many episodes in a row this weekend because we are loving it. Logan plays a slightly sarcastic, totally narcissitic womanizer (sound familiar?), the only difference here is that instead of an 18 year old high school student, he is 400 year old vampire. It just isn't the same though, this character, Josef, is missing two vital elements to Logan's success: 1. a deep down vulnerability and 2. more scenes with his shirt off.

Really you should be watching for the main character, Alex O'Loughlin playing Mick St. John because that is where the real awesomeness factor comes in

oh yeah and apparently Kailey and I aren't the only ones who find him kinda attractive.......
